1. What This Consent Authorizes
By marking specific documents in your Document Vault as “shared” with a particular Foundation when applying for a grant, you authorize the Foundation to view, download, and process those documents for the purposes of evaluating your application and (if approved) administering the resulting grant.
2. Granular Control
You may share specific documents (not the entire vault) with a specific Foundation (not all Foundations). You may revoke sharing for any future application at any time. Documents already shared and viewed remain in the Foundation's record for the duration of the application or grant lifecycle.
3. What Foundations May Do
Foundations may store the shared documents in their internal record-keeping system; use them to evaluate the application; share them with their auditors and counsel under confidentiality obligations equivalent to those between you and the Foundation; retain them for record-keeping and audit purposes consistent with their applicable law.
4. What Foundations May Not Do
Foundations may not (a) re-share documents with other Foundations not party to your application; (b) use documents for purposes unrelated to the grant evaluation or administration; (c) sell, license, or commercialize the documents.
5. Revocation
Revocation has future-only effect. To revoke for an active grant, you may need to coordinate with the Foundation; we recommend doing so in writing.
